UPSIDE-DOWN films was set up in 1996 by two Directors of Photography - Alex Metcalfe and Zoran Veljkovic.

We concentrate on combining creativity and business to form a perfect fusion that allows both to flourish. Our ethos is - tight budgets and short deadlines are a challenge to be embraced - delivering these with stylish creativity and the highest of production values.

Our London based office has developed, facilitated, or produced projects from all areas of film-making. This includes commercials, documentaries and television series as well as award winning feature films, promos, and dramas featuring Joely Richardson, Vinne Jones, Luke Goss, Stephen Berkoff…..

We are proud to move with the cutting edge of technology and use our extensive film knowledge to move forward in the fields of HD, CGI and the Digital domain. Both company directors have hands on experience with digital formats. Zoran Veljkovic was DoP for the recent HD feature film CHARLIE and Alex Metcalfe was DoP on the feature film ASYLUM. Both were originated on digital format and printed out to film for cinema distribution.
